Vouchers
All promotional offers, voucher codes and discount codes offered by The Queen of Bling are subject to the individual terms and conditions of the promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional and voucher codes are limited to one use per customer/order and cannot be used in conjunction with another offer or promotion.
We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or cancel a promotional offer or discount code where there has been a genuine pricing, technical, website or system error, misuse of a promotional code, or where a code has been used contrary to the stated terms of the promotion.
Where we identify an error, we will aim to contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible. This will normally be within 48 hours of the order being placed.
Where an order is affected, we may contact you to explain the error and, where appropriate, offer you the opportunity to:
- Continue with the order at the correct price or under the correct promotional terms; or
- Cancel the affected order and receive a full refund of any sums paid for that order.
Where an order is cancelled by us because of a genuine error, any payment already taken for the cancelled goods will be refunded to the original payment method.
Nothing within these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
One important change: I wouldn't say “if we notice an error within 48 hours, we have the right to cancel.” The 48 hours doesn't itself give you a legal right to cancel. It is better to say you will aim to identify/contact the customer within 48 hours and explain the circumstances in which you may cancel.
For your current situation where a one-use code was accidentally accepted twice, I would also add a specific term saying: “Unless expressly stated otherwise, discount codes are limited to one redemption per customer, household and/or transaction.” That makes the restriction much clearer before customers order.
